We absolutely loved our stay at the Riverplace Residence Inn in Portland with our lovely old 3-legged cat, Tripod. There were no issues with getting in and getting settled and plenty of space for his kitty litter. The larger space of a living room and kitchen made such a difference. We are used to being crammed into one room with an adjoining bath, which makes us all a bit uptight. Tripod had a wonderful time looking out the window at the sights of Portland and watching the river. And my husband and I liked the breakfast at the Residence Inn and the ease of parking and getting into town. We will do this again--next time we spend a few days in Portland.
