Points of Interest - Of course there is Mt. Shasta, a 14000 ft mountain with hiking trails, meadows and waterfalls. Also, there are a multiitude of dog-friendly hikes at Castle Crags, which is 5 minutes away. The Sacramento River has world-class trout fishing, and Lake Siskiyou has boating and swimming for kids and adults. Dunsmuir.com is a Historic railroad town that features festivals and events during the summer. Did I mention the local Ski and Board Park about 10 minutes away? Your family and your dog will smile!
